While at NTM Language school from June
1999 to June of 2002, we lived in a fourplex close to an inlet on the Lake of the Ozarks
by Roach, Missouri. Jason worked in the administration building and managed a
network that stretched through the admin and classroom buildings and out to the new
construction and maintenance building. Jason taught a Computer Literacy class, and
we were both involved in HTR (Hold the Ropes) a prayer time for missionaries. While
there as students previously, we studied Indonesian "Dobunesian" with a Papua
New Guinea culture emphasis.
It was
during our time at the school, that we began to meet with the team heading to Mozambique
and God began to give us a desire to be a part of the
team heading to Mozambique. The children really enjoyed swimming down at the
lake and swinging on the rope swing. The student population has really grown, and a
new classroom building was needed. We praise God for allowing us to serve in
Missouri and for the growth that God has done in our lives.
